A leading insurance firm is hiring a Software Engineer to support their risk management environment. This role focuses on expanding integrations for their Guidewire environment.
This position is hybrid, requiring 2 days in-office for the New Haven, CT location. No sponsorship opportunities are available at this time.
Responsibilities
- Implement solutions in Guidewire.
- Design and develop new features and integration components
- Oversee production support
- Support compliance with non-functional, security, regulatory, and technical standards
Requirements
- Experience with Guidewire for Property & Casualty insurance
- Proficiency in Guidewire configuration
- Expertise in using batch processing, messaging, RESTful API, and SOAP API in Guidewire
- Familiarity with Guidewire upgrade processes and data migration
- Strong technical skills in GOSU, Java, MS SQL, GIT, Gradle, and Maven; experience with Jenkins, AWS, SQL Server, Powershell, SUMO Logic, and JIRA is a plus.
